What problem does it solve?
Verifies that a specific RHEL resource-agents bug fix actually resolves the issue on a Two-Node with Fencing (TNF) OpenShift cluster, without relying on assumptions about the RPM contents.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Jira-driven verification context: Pulls the RHEL ticket plus linked parent/upstream and OCPEDGE tracking issues to assemble target z-stream, fix details, and test guidance.
- Cluster state validation and safe guidance: Checks whether the cluster is running the correct RHEL/z-stream and guides the user on redeploy/rebase options without performing lifecycle actions.
- Patch, validate, and report: Applies the fixed RPM to both nodes using rpm-ostree override replace -C, verifies the fix code presence on-node, runs (or supports) code-only/functional test paths, and optionally posts a Markdown report back to Jira.
