SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Transform a static HTML UI kit into an autonomous, interactive prototype that presents one screen at a time and supports clickable navigation.

Core Features & Use Cases

Generate a standalone Prototype.html at the kit root that visualizes flows with a left sidebar, breadcrumb, and prev/next controls.
Navigate between screens using data-nav-target attributes, with optional entry screen and configurable display modes.
Validate product flows, speed up stakeholder reviews, and enable rapid design iterations without coding.

Quick Start

Invoke the ui-kit-prototype skill on a kit root to generate Prototype.html and then open it in a browser to explore the interactive prototype.

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I turn a static HTML UI kit into an interactive prototype?▼

A static HTML UI kit becomes an interactive prototype by generating a standalone Prototype.html file at the kit root, embedding an internal runtime and screen inventory to present one screen at a time with clickable navigation.

How does data-nav-target based navigation work in UI prototypes?▼

Data-nav-target based navigation directs clickable transitions between screens by reading HTML attributes to define targets, supporting an optional entry screen and configurable display modes within the self-contained prototype runtime.

What is the best way to present product flows to stakeholders without coding?▼

Presenting product flows to stakeholders without coding is achieved by generating an autonomous Prototype.html featuring a left sidebar, breadcrumb, and prev/next controls, enabling rapid design iterations and validation across screens.

Can I validate navigation and iterate design across multiple screens using a UI kit?▼

Yes, validating navigation and iterating design across multiple screens is possible by transforming a UI kit into a self-contained prototype with an internal runtime and embedded screen inventory for stakeholder reviews.

Does the generated UI prototype support prev/next controls and breadcrumbs?▼

Yes, the generated UI prototype supports prev/next controls and breadcrumbs by visualizing flows within a generated Prototype.html file that includes a left sidebar for navigation.
