High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I organize engineering workflows by development phase?▼

Organizing engineering workflows by development phase involves mapping specific skills to each stage, from requirements gathering to deployment. This skill framework automates that discovery process, applying the appropriate workflow skill based on your current development phase.

What is the best way to discover the right skill for each software development process?▼

Discovering the right skill for a software development process requires a structured framework that maps tasks to phases. This framework automates skill discovery and invocation, identifying the correct engineering practice by evaluating the current context and lifecycle sequence.

How do I start a new software engineering task using a skill framework?▼

To start a new software engineering task, use the 'start-task' command and follow the prompts. This initiates the skill framework's lifecycle sequence, guiding you to select and execute the appropriate engineering practice for your specific workflow phase.

What core engineering practices should a software development workflow enforce?▼

A software development workflow should enforce core practices like assumption surfacing, confusion management, and scope discipline. This framework integrates these behaviors directly into its skill invocation process to maintain engineering standards across phases.

Does this skill framework require a deep understanding of engineering practices to use?▼

Yes, effectively using this skill framework requires a comprehensive understanding of the skill framework and the ability to execute the selected skill. It is designed for advanced implementation depth within software engineering workflows.

Can I get a quick reference for software development workflow skills?▼

Yes, the framework provides a quick reference with a one-line summary for each engineering workflow skill. This makes it easy to remember and apply the correct software development practice during any phase of the lifecycle sequence.
