What problem does it solve?
It stops product-stage artifacts from prematurely locking into specific technologies by scanning research, specification, and scope documents for implementation-binding tokens.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Deterministic abstraction-layer linter: Uses regex-based scanning to detect deny-list tokens like database names, framework identifiers, SDK method names, wire-level protocol hints, crypto constructions, and model version strings.
- Post-write and close-phase enforcement: Intended to be called right after producer skills write an artifact and also run as a final sanity check during the specify play.
- Structured violation reporting: Writes a YAML report detailing file paths, line/column locations, categories, matched tokens, and whether a match was exempted.
Quick Start
Use the validate-abstraction-layer skill to scan your product-stage files for abstraction-boundary violations and produce a YAML report at the specified output path.
