SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

This Skill removes, cleans, or replaces unwanted regions across video frames while preserving the surrounding scene, motion, and visual continuity.

Core Features & Use Cases

Prompt-Driven Region Editing: Use spatial descriptions to remove watermarks, wires, people, or other objects throughout a clip.
Model-Based Routing: Selects Wan 2-7 Edit-Video for general edits, Lucy Edit Restyle for identity-stable changes, or Seedream sequential editing for short frame-stack workflows.
Precision Workflows: Recommends ComfyUI workflows with mask propagation when pixel-level targeting and stronger temporal consistency are required.
Use Case: Remove a passing person from the background or clean a watermark from every frame while preserving the original environment.

Quick Start

Use the video-inpainting skill to remove the watermark in the bottom-right corner of the provided video while preserving all other content.

Frequently Asked Questions about video-inpainting

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I remove a watermark from a video without affecting the background?▼

Video watermark removal works by targeting the specific region across every frame to clean or replace it while preserving the surrounding scene. You use prompt-driven spatial descriptions to isolate and erase the watermark from the entire clip.

What is video inpainting for object cleanup?▼

Video inpainting is the process of removing or replacing unwanted regions across video frames while preserving surrounding content and motion. It applies to cleaning wires, passing people, or watermarks throughout a clip.

Can I use ComfyUI workflows for pixel-precise mask propagation?▼

Yes, ComfyUI workflows are recommended for pixel-precise mask propagation when stronger temporal consistency is required. They allow you to accurately target regions for frame-by-frame editing and identity-stable restyling.

Do I need the RunComfy CLI to edit video regions across frames?▼

Yes, you need the RunComfy CLI and an authenticated RunComfy model endpoint to perform region editing. This environment supports routing to models like Wan 2-7 Edit-Video for general edits and Lucy Edit Restyle for identity-stable changes.

How does temporal consistency work when removing moving objects from video?▼

Temporal consistency ensures that removing or replacing a moving object across video frames does not introduce flickering or visual artifacts. The Skill achieves this by preserving the original environment and motion continuity throughout the edited clip.

What's the best way to replace a background person in a video?▼

The best way to replace a background person is using prompt-driven region editing with model-based routing. You can select Seedream for short frame-stack workflows or Wan 2-7 Edit-Video for general edits to ensure identity-stable restyling.
