What problem does it solve?
Prevents visual drift and costly rework by turning vague “vibe” input into a concrete, generation-ready style descriptor before any production illustration work starts.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Reference scrape & moodboard: Collects 12–20 visual references (including user-provided images and web sources) into a single, viewable HTML moodboard for rapid comparison.
- Favorite-driven distillation: Prompts the user to pick 3–5 favorites and converts their preferences into a structured style descriptor (palette, line weight, texture, mood, era, composition, and what to avoid).
- Controlled variation generation & winner lock: Generates exactly 6 style-consistent variations via Playwright (visible, persistent login), has the user choose a winner, then writes a paste-ready contract at design/style-lock.md for downstream asset generation.
Quick Start
Run visual-ideation-moodboard and tell the skill what you’re trying to make (poster, UI spot art, mascot, brand direction) and what vibe you want, then select 3–5 favorites and approve the final style-lock when it’s generated.
