SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes scripts (resource) and references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

It helps you understand why a Kalshi contract is worth tracking but not yet tradable, explaining the “near-miss” reasoning using plain language and freshness/health caveats.

Core Features & Use Cases

Watchlist-only explanations: Clarifies why a contract stayed non-actionable, even when some signals look supportive.
Near-miss logic with dual-signal context: Compares what the Kalshi oracle indicates versus macro gap and coil signals to describe divergence and incompleteness.
Ranked watchlist output with persistence: Produces a ranked list (or explains why it is empty) and saves a snapshot for desktop-friendly summaries.

Quick Start

Ask the AI to run the watchlist-explainer in watchlist mode to generate a plain-language reasoned watchlist for the most relevant Kalshi contracts.

Frequently Asked Questions about watchlist-explainer

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

Why do some Kalshi contracts only qualify for a watchlist instead of immediate trading?▼

Kalshi contracts qualify for a watchlist when oracle updates indicate potential interest but dual-signal confirmation via macro gap and macro coil remains incomplete. This near-miss status indicates signal divergence or health caveats preventing immediate trading.

How do I generate a ranked watchlist for Kalshi contracts with incomplete signals?▼

Run the watchlist-explainer in watchlist mode to orchestrate Kalshi oracle, macro gap, and macro coil reads. It transforms and ranks near-miss candidates into a structured payload with a mini research-note desktop summary.

What are macro gap and macro coil signals in Kalshi trading?▼

Macro gap and macro coil are dual signals required to confirm Kalshi oracle updates. Incomplete dual-signal confirmation results in near-miss tracking, leaving contracts on a watchlist rather than qualifying them for immediate trading.

Can I track Kalshi near-miss contracts with freshness-aware monitoring?▼

Yes, freshness-aware monitoring tracks Kalshi near-miss contracts by evaluating oracle update staleness and signal health. This identifies why contracts remain non-actionable despite supportive indicators, maintaining a ranked watchlist.

Does the watchlist output explain why no Kalshi contracts meet the trading criteria?▼

Yes, the watchlist output explicitly explains why the ranked list is empty. It provides plain-language reasoning detailing the signal divergence and incomplete dual-signal confirmation preventing Kalshi contracts from qualifying.
