FAQPage Schema

How do I clone a website for visual fidelity and functional verification?▼

To clone a website, you enter a target URL to produce a single-page pixel-faithful replica. The clone reproduces layout, typography, colors, and core interactions for visual and functional verification.

Does Playwright MCP work for extracting layout and styling from a live URL?▼

Yes, Playwright MCP drives the extraction process to reproduce layout, typography, and styling from the source URL. It subsequently validates core interactions and navigation against the live site.

What is a visual verdict score in iterative website cloning?▼

A visual verdict score provides structural and visual comparisons between the clone and the source URL. It guides iterative verification to systematically improve pixel fidelity and layout accuracy.

Can I use website cloning to verify single-page interactions against the live site?▼

Yes, this cloning workflow supports single-page clones with core interactions. It leverages Playwright MCP to validate that functional navigation and interactions match the live target URL.

What are the limitations of cloning a website into a single-page replica?▼

The scope is limited to a single-page clone covering layout, typography, colors, and core interactions. It does not natively clone multi-page site architectures or complex backend data flows.

When do I need to use a web-clone tool instead of manual HTML inspection?▼

You need an automated web-clone tool when you require a pixel-faithful replica for visual and functional verification. It uses iterative visual verdict scoring to ensure fidelity that manual inspection cannot easily quantify.
