What problem does it solve?

WhatsApp messaging requires specific tag syntax to trigger real in-chat mentions and notifications; without the correct format, mentions may appear as plain text and fail to notify recipients.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Detects when you are in a WhatsApp context (chatJid ends with @s.whatsapp.net or @g.us) and formats your replies to use numeric mentions.
  • Tag users by phone number digits (e.g., @15551234567) so WhatsApp renders a bold, clickable mention and sends a notification.
  • Works with the host's WhatsApp adapter (Baileys) to convert tag text into WhatsApp-native mentions during outbound messages.

Quick Start
