What problem does it solve?

wiki-daily helps you capture daily ideas, todos, and programming decisions in a consistent way, then turn that stream into rolling daily/weekly syntheses and fileback candidates without risking unapproved writes into your knowledge base.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Inbox fragments-first journaling: Creates dated append/plan/review fragments so you never lose capture context, and so compilation is deterministic and recoverable.
  • Daily/rolling/weekly synthesis workflows: Generates daily pages and rolling/weekly summaries from recent fragments and pages, while distinguishing trends from stable, reusable knowledge.
  • Human-confirmed Fileback: Produces Suggested fileback candidates and notifications, but only writes to knowledge pages after explicit user confirmation.
  • Time-bound journal logic: Uses a configurable day boundary (default 04:00) with proper timezone-aware captured_at and journal_date.
