SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Real-time wire transfers demand strict compliance, end-to-end visibility, and reliable settlement across Fedwire, SWIFT, and RTP networks.

Core Features & Use Cases

End-to-end wire origination and routing across Fedwire, SWIFT, and RTP.
Mandatory sanctions screening with OFAC checks and audit trails prior to transmission.
Real-time tracking, versioned Kafka-based event logging, and recall/investigation workflows for operational visibility.

Quick Start

Initiate a real-time RTP payment by supplying sender and receiver details, amount, and currency, and monitor the end-to-end status.

Frequently Asked Questions about wire-rtp

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I automate Fedwire and SWIFT MT103 real-time wire transfers with sanctions screening?▼

Real-time wire transfers are automated by supplying sender and receiver details, amount, and currency, which triggers mandatory OFAC sanctions screening with audit trails before transmission over secure Fedline connections. State-machine-driven status transitions and idempotent transmissions ensure reliable end-to-end settlement.

How does Kafka event streaming work for tracking cross-border wire transfers?▼

Kafka-based event streaming logs versioned wire transfer events throughout the lifecycle, providing real-time operational visibility. It tracks state-machine-driven status transitions and references like IMAD, UETR, and SWIFT refs, enabling recall and investigation workflows across Fedwire, SWIFT, and RTP networks.

Does this real-time payments workflow support RTP and FedNow limit enforcement?▼

Yes, RTP and FedNow payments are supported with RTP limit enforcement applied prior to transmission. The workflow handles domestic Fedwire, international SWIFT pacs.008, and RTP origination with mandatory sanctions screening, idempotent transmissions, and TLS-secure Fedline connections.

What is the best way to handle SWIFT recall and investigation workflows for wire transfers?▼

Recall and investigation workflows for wire transfers are managed through state-machine-driven status transitions and versioned Kafka-based event logging. This provides end-to-end tracking and operational visibility across Fedwire, SWIFT MT103, and RTP networks for resolving payment issues.

Can I use this for both domestic Fedwire and international SWIFT pacs.008 messaging?▼

Yes, the workflow supports both domestic Fedwire and international SWIFT MT103 and pacs.008 messaging. It automates cross-border messaging with end-to-end tracking, mandatory OFAC sanctions screening, and idempotent transmissions using IMAD, UETR, and SWIFT references.

Why do real-time wire transfers require idempotent transmissions and OFAC screening?▼

Idempotent transmissions prevent duplicate payments using unique references like IMAD, UETR, and SWIFT refs, while mandatory OFAC sanctions screening with audit trails ensures strict compliance prior to transmission. Both are required for reliable, compliant settlement across Fedwire, SWIFT, and RTP networks.
