SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Create an isolated git worktree with a feature branch for PACT workflows. This provides filesystem isolation so multiple features or sub-scopes can run in parallel without interference.

Core Features & Use Cases

Isolate workspaces for new features or orchestrator flows (or comPACT).
Prevent cross-feature interference by using dedicated .worktrees/, ensuring clean separation for ATOMIZE or manual isolation of a feature branch.
Return a ready-to-use path and branch information for subsequent steps in the workflow.

Quick Start

Create a new worktree for the feature branch and report its path.

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I isolate feature branches for parallel git workflows?▼

You isolate feature branches for parallel git workflows by creating dedicated git worktrees under a .worktrees directory, providing filesystem isolation so multiple features run without interference.

Why use git worktrees to prevent cross-feature interference?▼

Git worktrees prevent cross-feature interference by providing separate filesystem paths for each feature branch, allowing parallel development to run cleanly without overlapping uncommitted changes.

Can I reuse an existing worktree if one is already set up?▼

Yes, the orchestration logic robustly handles existing worktrees by reusing them instead of creating duplicates, returning the ready-to-use path and branch information with clear error messages.

Does git worktree isolation work for PACT orchestration flows?▼

Yes, git worktree isolation supports PACT orchestration flows, including comPACT and ATOMIZE sub-scopes, by generating isolated workspaces that prevent concurrent processes from conflicting.

What is the best way to manage multiple feature branches simultaneously?▼

The best way to manage multiple feature branches simultaneously is creating isolated git worktrees, which allows each feature to operate in a dedicated directory and returns a ready-to-use path for subsequent workflow steps.
