SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

This Skill provides comprehensive guidance and best practices for developing robust, secure, and production-ready intelligent contracts on the GenLayer platform, addressing common pitfalls in development.

Core Features & Use Cases

Equivalence Principle Guidance: Helps select the correct principle (strict_eq, custom validator) for deterministic and non-deterministic operations.
Error Classification & Handling: Standardizes error handling for consensus and resilience.
Storage Rules & Types: Details on using GenLayer's persistent storage types and best practices for data structures.
LLM Resilience: Strategies for handling unpredictable LLM outputs and ensuring contract stability.
Cross-Contract Interaction: Patterns for deploying and interacting with other contracts.

Quick Start

Use the write-contract skill to generate a basic GenLayer contract skeleton.

Frequently Asked Questions about write-contract

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I write production-ready GenLayer contracts?▼

To write production-ready GenLayer contracts, follow best practices for equivalence principle selection, validator patterns, storage rules, and cross-contract interaction to ensure stability and consensus.

What's the best way to handle LLM resilience in smart contracts?▼

Handle LLM resilience in smart contracts by implementing strategies for unpredictable LLM outputs, standardizing error classification, and applying handling techniques to ensure contract stability and consensus.

How do I choose an equivalence principle for GenLayer intelligent contracts?▼

Choose an equivalence principle for GenLayer intelligent contracts by selecting strict_eq for deterministic operations or custom validators for non-deterministic operations to maintain consensus.

Can I use custom validators with non-deterministic operations in GenLayer?▼

Yes, you can use custom validators with non-deterministic operations in GenLayer by applying the custom validator equivalence principle to manage consensus for dynamic outputs.

What are the storage rules and data types for GenLayer smart contracts?▼

Storage rules for GenLayer smart contracts involve using specific persistent storage types and data structures to maintain state integrity and optimize contract performance across validators.

How do I deploy and interact with other contracts on GenLayer?▼

Deploy and interact with other contracts on GenLayer by applying cross-contract interaction patterns, enabling contracts to communicate and trigger functions within the GenLayer ecosystem.
