Planning complex software features into concrete, traceable tasks is error-prone without a structured dev-plan that links work to a spec.
Provide a step-by-step dev-plan for the given specification by breaking it into tasks, defining dependencies, and outlining verification.
High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.
Generating a dev-plan from a specification involves automating spec decomposition into actionable tasks, dependency graphs, risk registers, and verification plans to ensure traceability across the software lifecycle.
Spec decomposition is breaking a specification into actionable tasks with clear deliverables, ensuring spec traceability by mapping requirements to concrete verification methods and managing task dependencies.
Creating a dependency graph for software tasks involves decomposing the specification and mapping relationships to reveal parallel work, identify the critical path, and ensure correct task sequencing.
Yes, acceptance criteria can be mapped to concrete verification methods automatically. The dev-plan generation includes risk assessment and verification mapping to satisfy spec traceability requirements.
The best way to manage risk during task breakdown is to capture risks within a structured dev-plan, mapping potential issues directly to tasks and verification plans to ensure comprehensive risk management.
You need a structured dev-plan for feature work when planning complex software features into concrete, traceable tasks, preventing errors by linking work to a spec through task granularity and dependency management.
