FAQPage Schema

How do I capture writing fragments during an ideation session before structuring an article?▼

To capture writing fragments during an ideation, this Skill mines your conversation to extract heterogeneous nuggets like claims and half-thoughts, appending them to a single markdown document as raw material. It ensures fragments are captured from the first prompt.

Can I append raw material to a markdown file without overwriting my manual edits?▼

Yes, you can append raw material without overwriting edits because the Skill re-reads the document before every write. This mechanism preserves your existing content by only appending new fragments, ensuring manual changes are never lost.

What is the best way to extract heterogeneous ideas and vignettes from a chat conversation?▼

The best way to extract heterogeneous ideas is using a Skill that interviews you relentlessly to surface fragments. It appends these sharp sentences and vignettes into an evolving draft, providing raw writing material before you impose structure.

Does this fragment harvesting approach work for unstructured brainstorming and document capture?▼

Yes, fragment harvesting works for unstructured brainstorming and document capture by extracting raw material directly from your session. It is specifically designed for users who want to develop ideas in a markdown file before organizing them into a final article.

How do I start a session to collect raw writing fragments into a single evolving draft?▼

To start collecting raw writing fragments, initiate a fragments session and specify a save location for the resulting markdown document. The Skill will immediately begin mining your conversation and appending extracted nuggets to that file.

When should I avoid using a fragment collection tool for content ideation?▼

You should avoid using a fragment collection tool when you need structured, fully-formed writing rather than raw material. This approach is built for early ideation before imposing structure, so it is not suited for final article formatting or direct publishing.
