What problem does it solve?

This Skill automates the inner-loop Red-Green-Refactor TDD cycle for software tasks by coordinating failing tests, minimal implementations, and optional refactors, so engineers can ship reliable code faster.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • TPP-driven cycles: Executes TDD cycles in Transformation Priority Premise order.
  • Plan-driven execution: Reads the task plan generated by x-plan-task and drives RED, GREEN, and REFACTOR phases.
  • Atomic commits: Delegates per-phase commits to x-commit-changes with TDD tags and maintains a strict, auditable history.
  • Resumable and previewable: Supports --from-cycle resume and --dry-run preview for safe iteration.

Quick Start

Invoke the command /x-drive-tdd TASK-XXXX-YYYY-NNN to start the inner-loop TDD cycles.
