What problem does it solve?
Carves out and runs an epic-level integrity gate for epic branches, enabling automated validation of tests, coverage, and a DoD checklist before orchestration proceeds.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Verifies the target branch exists and can be checked out safely with a detached-HEAD guard.
- Executes the build and test workflow (Maven) and parses JaCoCo coverage across modules.
- Emits a single-line JSON envelope containing passed, failures, coverageDelta, and dodChecklist for upstream orchestration.
Quick Start
Invoke the gate with --epic-id <id> to evaluate the current epic branch and emit the envelope.
