Getting a second opinion from Grok or searching X/Twitter normally requires leaving your current GPT conversation and switching tools. This Skill lets a GPT-led Codex session call Grok as a read-only external advisor and run native X keyword searches while keeping GPT as the controlling model.

  • Second Opinions and Reviews: Use ask_grok, review_with_grok, and challenge_with_grok to get independent answers, draft reviews, and adversarial stress-tests of claims.
  • Native X Search with Timestamp Verification: search_x_with_grok runs the official Grok CLI x_search first, decodes Snowflake IDs from status URLs into UTC and local timestamps, and filters results to a fixed date or rolling hour window.
  • Safety-Gated Fallback Chain: Only explicit account quota exhaustion triggers anonymous FxTwitter, and OpenCLI/xreach read-only fallbacks require explicit current-task authorization; login, network, and permission errors stop the chain instead of silently falling back.

Posts are excluded when the timestamp decoded from their Snowflake status ID falls outside the requested date or hour window. The Skill never fabricates links or moves out-of-window posts into the results, so fewer matches are returned as-is.
