What problem does it solve?

Transforms zoning analysis reports into an interactive, shareable 3D visualization of buildable envelopes, enabling architects to quickly assess massing and setbacks without manual modeling.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Reads the Envelope Data block from zoning analysis reports and validates unit information (ft or m).
  • Computes inset polygons for setbacks and build volumes, then extrudes them into a self-contained HTML viewer with embedded Three.js.
  • Supports multi-volume envelopes and optional scenario toggles for comparison across design options.
  • Produces a standalone, browser-friendly visualization that requires no external dependencies.

Quick Start

Install the required plugin and run /zoning-envelope with a zoning report path to generate the interactive viewer.
