SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes scripts (resource) and references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

This Skill automates the creation and maintenance of system architecture documentation, ensuring AI-driven development is guided by clear design principles and robust verification.

Core Features & Use Cases

Mode 1 (Scan): Generates human-readable system module descriptions from code, aiding understanding for non-technical stakeholders.
Mode 2 (Design): Produces technical design documents (architecture.md) and task breakdowns for new initiatives, ensuring AI designs before coding. It also generates an Initiative DoD (initiative-dod.md) for clear acceptance criteria.
Mode 3 (Verify): Conducts end-to-end verification of initiatives, checking functional DoD, architectural alignment, and updating documentation.
Use Case: Before starting a new feature development, use /architect design "Implement user authentication" to generate the technical plan, task list, and DoD. After development, use /architect verify --initiative-id <id> to ensure everything aligns with the design.

Quick Start

Use the architect skill to design a new initiative by running /architect design "Implement a real-time notification system".
