FAQPage Schema

How do I know if my Google Ads target CPA or ROAS is throttling campaign spend?▼

Target CPA or ROAS throttling occurs when set bid targets are too aggressive compared to actual performance. You can identify this by comparing your tCPA and tROAS values against 30-day actual performance metrics to spot efficiency gaps or spend starvation.

How do I audit Google Ads bid strategy targets for realistic performance?▼

Audit Google Ads bid strategy targets by comparing set tCPA and tROAS values against 30-day actual performance metrics. Evaluate target realism across campaign-level data to identify throttling or efficiency gaps while filtering out thin-volume noise.

Do I need a specific connector to analyze Google Ads campaign bid targets?▼

Yes, analyzing campaign bid targets requires integration with the Porter Metrics MCP to execute connector actions and query 30-day performance data for your active Google Ads campaigns.

What is the best way to adjust Google Ads bid targets for high-spend campaigns?▼

The best way to adjust bid targets is by analyzing 30-day actual performance metrics against set tCPA and tROAS values. This provides specific, data-driven recommendations to modify aggressive targets that starve high-spend campaigns and waste budget.

Why does my Google Ads bid strategy ignore low-volume campaign data?▼

Low-volume campaign data is filtered out as thin-volume noise during the bid strategy target alignment audit. This prevents skewed target realism evaluations and ensures adjustments are based on statistically significant campaign-level performance.
