FAQPage Schema

How do I manage a greenfield software project from ideation to QA-verified feature deployment?▼

A structured greenfield software project methodology guides development from ideation to QA-verified feature deployment. It coordinates Analyst, PM, Architect, SM, Dev, and QA roles through a master-coordinated pipeline to ensure independent phase verification.

What is the best way to enforce a software methodology and prevent premature coding in feature development?▼

To enforce a software methodology, strict code enforcement prevents code writing before all plans are completed. A quality gate ensures every project phase is independently reviewed and verified before development begins.

How do I start a full lifecycle feature development pipeline for a new project?▼

Start a full lifecycle feature development pipeline by initiating the structured methodology with the `/bmad-init` command. This activates the master-coordinated pipeline, guiding the project from initial idea to a shippable, QA-verified product.

Can I implement independent quality assurance verification for each phase of my greenfield project?▼

You can implement independent quality assurance verification for your greenfield project. The methodology ensures every phase is independently reviewed, maintaining high standards throughout the feature development lifecycle.

Does this full lifecycle development methodology work for existing codebases or only greenfield projects?▼

This full lifecycle development methodology is specifically designed for greenfield projects. It addresses the complexity of implementing new features from initial ideation to a fully-featured product.

Why should I use a structured project management methodology for feature development instead of starting to code immediately?▼

Using a structured project management methodology for feature development ensures all plans are completed before coding starts. This prevents premature coding through strict code enforcement, resulting in a QA-verified product.
