FAQPage Schema

What is cohort analysis and how does it identify user behavior trends?▼

Cohort analysis identifies user behavior trends by tracking retention and adoption metrics over time. It groups users by initial engagement to monitor how long they remain active and to pinpoint patterns in feature uptake.

How do I analyze user retention for a group that signed up last month?▼

To analyze user retention, the Skill processes metrics data from your specified user group to calculate the percentage still active. It identifies behavioral trends and highlights common characteristics among users who churned.

Can I track feature adoption across different user groups with this Skill?▼

Yes, you can track feature adoption by providing context on adoption metrics. The Skill monitors the uptake of new product areas by different user groups to generate actionable cohort insights.

What data do I need to provide to generate meaningful retention and adoption insights?▼

You need to provide specific context on retention and adoption, including metrics data and initiative state. Meaningful analysis requires this raw data to accurately process behavioral trends and learning opportunities.

How does this approach differ from general product analytics workflows?▼

Unlike general product analytics, this approach specifically isolates retention and adoption cohorts to identify behavioral trends. It processes metrics data to produce targeted cohort insights rather than broad usage statistics.
