SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill requires python3, jsonschema.

What problem does it solve?

Pricing decisions across multiple vendors are complex and time consuming. This Skill automates competitive pricing intelligence by discovering vendor products, extracting per-product pricing, and compiling a validated comparison matrix plus narrative insights.

Core Features & Use Cases

End-to-end discovery: phase 0 cataloging of competitors and their pricing structures.
Per-product extraction: collect, verify, and normalize pricing data for each product and use case.
Matrix output: generate data-ready CSVs (data-per-use-case, matrix-per-use-case) and narrative reports for executive review.
On-demand artefacts: optional extraction of company-level metadata and product schemas to support analysis and decision making.

Quick Start

Provide a list of competitors and target use cases; the skill will perform discovery, extract pricing data, verify results, and output a pricing-matrix along with supporting reports.

FAQPage Schema

How do I automate competitor pricing analysis across multiple vendors?▼

Pricing intelligence normalizes competitor pricing data by extracting per-product details and verifying results against defined schemas. This validates extracted pricing structures and ensures the generated comparison matrices are accurate and consistent across multiple vendors.

What is the best way to generate a pricing comparison matrix for different use cases?▼

Extracted pricing data is validated against defined JSON schemas before output. This verification step ensures the structured catalog of products and matrices stored for downstream use maintains consistency and accuracy across all competitor analyses.

Do I need Python to extract and normalize competitor pricing data?▼

Beyond Python 3 and jsonschema, no specific external platforms are required. The skill operates by taking input parameters like competitor lists and target use cases to discover vendor products and compile structured pricing catalogs.

Can I extract company-level metadata alongside competitor pricing structures?▼

The tool supports pricing intelligence at scale by orchestrating discovery and extraction across multiple competitors simultaneously. It compiles a structured catalog of products and use-case coverage, outputting validated matrices and narrative reports for large datasets.
