FAQPage Schema

How do I extract quantities from PDF construction plans automatically?▼

PDF plan analysis uses Claude Vision to extract scale, dimensions, and annotations from site plans, floor plans, elevations, and details. The Skill quantifies materials by CSI MasterFormat divisions and generates itemized takeoffs, eliminating manual measurement and categorization.

Can I generate cost estimates from construction takeoffs?▼

Yes. After extracting quantities, the Skill applies Florida market unit costs and labor rates to produce detailed budgets. Results export to Excel with project summary, materials breakdown, and cost totals for stakeholder reporting.

Does this work with multi-page PDF plans?▼

Multi-page PDF support is built in. The Skill processes all pages within a single plan document, extracting and consolidating quantities across site plans, floor plans, elevations, and detail sheets into one comprehensive takeoff.

What file formats does the takeoff workflow output?▼

The Skill generates Excel-based multi-sheet workbooks containing project summary, takeoff details, materials lists, and competitor insights. Results also log to Supabase for historical analysis and tracking.

How do I track takeoff results over time?▼

Supabase logging persists all takeoff data and cost estimates, enabling historical analysis and comparison across projects. Store and query results to identify trends, benchmark costs, and audit past estimates.
