What problem does it solve?

This Skill sets up conversion values to ensure that paid ads bidding optimizes profit, not just order counts.

Core Features & Use Cases

Value-based Bidding: Defines and QAs the conversion VALUE model.
Margin Adjustment: Maps net margin onto the conversion value.
Dynamic vs Static Rules: Determines static or dynamic value rules for conversion values.
Proxy Values: Assigns proxy values for non-revenue actions like leads or calls.

Quick Start

Use the `conversion-value-mapper skill to set up conversion values based on your GA4 purchase-value export and margin/COGS export. Specify the bid goal as tROAS or max-value.

Frequently Asked Questions about conversion-value-mapper

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I set up GA4 conversion values for profit-based bidding?▼

To set up GA4 conversion values for profit-based bidding, define the conversion value model using your GA4 purchase-value export and margin/COGS export, then specify your bid goal as tROAS or max-value.

What is a proxy value for non-revenue ad conversions?▼

A proxy value for non-revenue ad conversions is an assigned monetary value mapped to actions like leads or calls, allowing your profit-based bidding strategy to optimize for value rather than just conversion counts.

How do I map net margin onto conversion values for advertising optimization?▼

You map net margin onto conversion values by applying margin adjustments from your COGS export to the purchase-value data, ensuring your advertising optimization targets actual profit rather than raw revenue.

Does conversion value modeling work with static and dynamic value rules?▼

Yes, conversion value modeling supports both static and dynamic value rules, allowing you to determine fixed values or dynamically assign conversion values based on real-time purchase and margin data.

What criteria must conversion values meet for tROAS bid goals?▼

Conversion values for tROAS bid goals must meet specific criteria including proper net margin calculation, distinct value versus count metrics, and explicit bid goal specification to validate the profit-based model.

When should I use a conversion value mapper instead of standard conversion tracking?▼

Use a conversion value mapper instead of standard tracking when you need advertising optimization to target actual profit, requiring net margin adjustments and proxy values for non-revenue actions rather than simple order counts.
