FAQPage Schema

How do I navigate Convex development patterns for functions, realtime, and schema validation?▼

Convex development patterns are routed through a centralized umbrella skill that indexes specialized sub-skills for functions, realtime, agents, and schema validation, enabling quick discovery and navigation.

What is a modular Convex skill structure and when do I need it?▼

A modular Convex skill structure provides a centralized entry point that routes to dedicated sub-skills for specific capabilities like functions and realtime. You need it when onboarding to accelerate consistency and best-practice adoption.

Can I use this Convex skill as a starting point for a new project?▼

Yes, a new Convex project can start with this umbrella skill to discover and jump into appropriate sub-skills such as convex-functions, convex-realtime, convex-agents, and convex-schema-validator.

What's the best way to discover which Convex sub-skill handles a specific development task?▼

The best way to discover the right Convex sub-skill is through this umbrella skill, which lists available sub-skills and their commands while remaining agnostic to implementation details, enabling quick navigation.

Does this Convex skill cover implementation details for realtime and agent functions?▼

No, this Convex skill remains agnostic to implementation details. It serves as an index hub that routes to specialized sub-skills where the actual implementation guidance for realtime and agent functions resides.
