SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Apply human-centered problem solving to validate ideas, define audiences, and prioritize directions.

Core Features & Use Cases

Framework choice: Double Diamond, GV Sprint, or JTBD Switch Interview to structure problem finding, solution ideation, and validation.
Depth calibration: Quick, Standard, and Deep modes to match time and rigor.
Research synthesis and artifacts: transform findings into insights, HMW statements, and canvas-based outputs for decision making.

Quick Start

Choose a framework and run a standard design-thinking session to identify the problem, map audiences, and prioritize directions.

Frequently Asked Questions about design-thinker

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I validate early product concepts and identify target audiences?▼

Validate early product concepts by applying human-centered problem solving through frameworks like Double Diamond or GV Sprint. This process maps audiences, prioritizes directions, and outputs structured canvases to clarify ambiguous problems.

What is the best way to structure a design thinking session for ambiguous problems?▼

Structure a design thinking session by selecting a framework like Double Diamond, GV Sprint, or JTBD Switch Interview. You calibrate depth from Quick to Deep modes to transform research into insights, HMW statements, and canvas outputs.

How do I run a GV Sprint or JTBD Switch Interview for strategic pivots?▼

Run a GV Sprint or JTBD Switch Interview by calibrating session depth to match team rigor. The process synthesizes research findings into prioritized directions, How Might We statements, and adoption forces for strategic pivots.

Can I use design thinking frameworks for early product concepts without prior research data?▼

Design thinking frameworks apply to early product concepts and ambiguous problems without strict prerequisites. You choose a framework and depth level to structure problem finding, ideation, and validation directly within your session.

When should I use Double Diamond versus other design thinking approaches?▼

Use Double Diamond versus other approaches when seeking structured problem finding and solution ideation. The choice depends on your context, as depth calibration and multiple frameworks ensure user-centered clarity for strategic pivots.

What artifacts does a human-centered problem solving session produce?▼

A human-centered problem solving session produces structured output artifacts including How Might We statements, canvas-based outputs, and adoption forces. These artifacts transform research synthesis into actionable insights for decision making.
