draft-slts

Draft student learning targets by providing the course topic, audience, and learning goals. The skill generates precise SLTs following the "I can + verb + outcome + observable evidence" structure to accelerate curriculum design.

Measurable student learning targets require a clear verb, a specific outcome, and observable evidence. This structure ensures the learning targets enforce measurable criteria suitable for both formative and summative assessment planning.

Align course learning targets with Bloom's taxonomy by validating the generated SLTs against cognitive levels. The skill provides examples for different learner levels to ensure the outcomes match the audience's expected proficiency.

Yes, you can use auto-generated learning targets for assessment design. The skill creates SLTs that map directly to formative and summative assessments, ensuring the curriculum development workflow maintains measurable alignment.

Before generating student learning targets, you need to define your course topic, identify the target audience, and outline the overall learning goals. These three inputs drive the automatic SLT creation process.

Yes, this SLT drafting approach works for courses with varying module complexities. It guides instructors from an initial topic to measurable outcomes, applying the required formula regardless of the module's depth.
