What problem does it solve?

Expressions of emotion are missing in most lamp interactions, leading to dull conversations. This skill coordinates the lamp's servo motors, LED colors, and display eyes to produce a lively, authentic response with every reply, greatly improving user engagement. Do NOT use this for ambient lighting or generic LED color changes; use Scene or LED Control for those tasks.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Coordinated hardware expressions: servo movements, LED color shifts, and eyes display driven together for each reply.
  • Predefined emotion set and intensity levels for nuanced personality.
  • Inline tokens to trigger expressions asynchronously within replies, e.g. [HW:/emotion:{"emotion":"curious","intensity":0.8}] at the start of a response.
  • Platform-agnostic discovery via SKILL.md frontmatter; supports multi-emotion sequences and safe timing.
