SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

This plan defines which feedback channels exist (in-app, email, support, reviews) and where they surface in the product, ensuring feedback collection is consistent and actionable from day one.

Core Features & Use Cases

Inventory and define channels (in-app forms, email, support tickets, app store reviews) and surface locations in IA (nav, settings, help).
Specify touchpoints and data routing to downstream teams (UX, product, engineering, analytics) and create clear handover artifacts.
Align with PRD and downstream deliverables by providing an end-to-end handover template for IA, user flows, wireframes, and backend specs.

Quick Start

Create a Feedback Channels Plan document that lists channels, placement, touchpoints, and the required handover artifacts for design and engineering.

Frequently Asked Questions about feedback-channels-plan

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I plan feedback channels across my product IA?▼

Plan feedback channels by inventorying in-app forms, email, support tickets, and app store reviews, then defining their IA surface locations like navigation and settings to ensure consistent product feedback collection.

What is the best way to document feedback touchpoints and data routing for engineering?▼

Document feedback touchpoints and data routing by specifying data flows to downstream teams like UX, analytics, and engineering, and creating clear handover artifacts for backend integration specs.

How do I align feedback channel planning with my PRD deliverables?▼

Align feedback channel planning with PRD deliverables by using an end-to-end handover template that maps channel definitions to user flows, wireframes, and backend specs for downstream teams.

Can I define backend integration considerations for in-app feedback forms using this plan?▼

Yes, you can define backend integration considerations for in-app feedback forms by specifying data flows and handover artifacts that route support tickets and user feedback to downstream engineering teams.

When do I need a formal feedback channels plan for product management?▼

You need a formal feedback channels plan when launching a product or feature to ensure PRD-driven feedback collection is consistent, actionable from day one, and properly routed to UX, product, and support teams.

What limitations exist when routing app store reviews into a product feedback loop?▼

The plan addresses routing app store reviews into your feedback loop by defining them as a distinct channel, but actual data extraction depends on external platform APIs and your backend integration capabilities.
