What problem does it solve?
Freedom-to-operate triage helps teams quickly identify potentially blocking patents for a product, process, or feature so they can make informed next-step decisions before commissioning a full legal FTO opinion.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Structured patent-risk first pass: Runs an intake workflow, then performs a preliminary search (when an external patent-research integration is available) to surface the most plausible blocking patents.
- Claim-chart-first triage: Builds an element-by-element first-pass claim chart for 2–5 most plausible patents, separating literal reading from doctrine-of-equivalents flags and noting indirect/divided infringement as issues to be reviewed by counsel.
- Counsel-grade next steps: Produces open questions a full FTO study would resolve, including enforceability, file-wrapper/prosecution history, IPR/PGR outcomes, and enforcement history, with clear willfulness and non-lawyer gating.
Quick Start
