SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill requires gh, jq, npx.

What problem does it solve?

This skill solves the fragmentation of project management by synchronizing GitHub issues, project boards, and sprint planning with intelligent AI swarm coordination to ensure consistent progress tracking and automated task execution.

Core Features & Use Cases

Swarm-Coordinated Issue Management: Automatically decompose complex issues into subtasks and assign them to specialized AI agents for implementation, testing, and documentation.
Project Board Automation: Maintain real-time synchronization between swarm task statuses and GitHub project board columns, including automated card movement and custom view generation.
Sprint & Release Planning: Leverage historical velocity and cycle-time metrics to predict completion dates and optimize release scopes.

Quick Start

Use the github-project-management skill to initialize a swarm for issue number 456 and automatically decompose it into actionable subtasks.

Frequently Asked Questions about github-project-management

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I automate GitHub issue tracking with multi-agent swarms?▼

You can automate GitHub issue tracking with multi-agent swarms by integrating the GitHub CLI with swarm orchestration to decompose complex issues into subtasks and assign them to specialized AI agents for implementation and testing.

Can I synchronize GitHub project boards with automated AI task statuses?▼

Yes, you can synchronize GitHub project boards with AI task statuses by maintaining real-time integration between swarm task progress and GitHub project board columns, enabling automated card movement and custom view generation.

How does automated task decomposition work for agile project management in GitHub?▼

Automated task decomposition works for agile project management by taking complex GitHub issues and breaking them down into actionable subtasks, which are then distributed across specialized AI agents for parallel execution.

Do I need GitHub CLI authentication to use swarm-coordinated project board automation?▼

Yes, you need GitHub CLI authentication along with jq and npx dependencies to enable swarm-coordinated project board automation and real-time synchronization across your repositories.

What is the best way to predict sprint completion dates using GitHub issue metrics?▼

The best way to predict sprint completion dates is by leveraging historical velocity and cycle-time metrics from GitHub issues to optimize release scopes and forecast project completion.

How do I initialize a swarm to decompose a specific GitHub issue automatically?▼

To initialize a swarm for a specific GitHub issue, you trigger the automation using the issue number, which automatically decomposes the issue into actionable subtasks and assigns them to specialized agents.
