FAQPage Schema

How do I choose the right Google Ads bidding strategy for my campaign?▼

Google Ads bidding strategy selection depends on your campaign goals, conversion history, and budget. You can transition from manual CPC to Smart Bidding, tCPA, or tROAS to maximize CPA efficiency and ROAS based on account state.

What are the prerequisites for using Smart Bidding in Google Ads?▼

To use Smart Bidding, you must first enable conversion tracking and gather your business economics. Satisfying these conversion-tracking prerequisites ensures the algorithm has sufficient data to optimize tCPA or tROAS strategies effectively.

How do I set Target CPA and Target ROAS without losing conversion volume?▼

Setting Target CPA and tROAS targets requires balancing business economics with account goals. Apply recommended bid adjustments by device, location, and audience, while carefully managing the learning period to preserve volume.

When should I use portfolio bid strategies instead of standard Smart Bidding?▼

Portfolio bid strategies are useful when managing multiple campaigns with varying budgets and target economics. They group campaigns to share data, applying tactics from Maximize Conversions to tCPA across the entire portfolio for broader optimization.

How do bid adjustments work with Smart Bidding in Google Ads?▼

Bid adjustments by device, location, time, and audience guide Smart Bidding algorithms. While Smart Bidding automates most adjustments, understanding data requirements and learning periods helps troubleshoot performance and refine targeting.
