Core Features & Use Cases

Dedicated six-stage review: reader, literature, math, physics, significance, and referee, each producing concise stage artifacts to flag strengths and gaps.
Contract-backed evidence discipline: enforces use of manuscript artifacts, verification reports, and artifact manifests to justify conclusions.
Round management and governance: preflight checks, phase artifacts, and revision handling ensure traceable, auditable evaluations.

Frequently Asked Questions about gpd-peer-review

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I perform a structured peer review of a manuscript and its supporting artifacts?▼

A structured peer review can be performed using a dedicated six-pass workflow that scrutinizes manuscripts and accompanying artifacts for claims, evidence, and scientific soundness. It applies contract-backed evidence discipline to justify conclusions.

What stages are involved in a rigorous peer-review workflow?▼

A rigorous peer-review workflow involves six dedicated stages: reader, literature, math, physics, and significance reviews, followed by a final referee stage. Each stage produces concise artifacts to flag strengths and gaps.

Can I use this peer-review process for incomplete papers or drafts?▼

No, this peer-review process applies specifically to complete papers and their associated research artifacts. It enforces contract-backed evidence and requires fresh-context analysis at each stage to evaluate methodological soundness.

How does the workflow enforce evidence verification during manuscript review?▼

The workflow enforces evidence verification by requiring contract-backed evidence discipline. It mandates using manuscript artifacts, verification reports, and artifact manifests to justify conclusions and ensure traceable, auditable evaluations.

Does the peer-review process generate a final publication decision?▼

Yes, the process culminates in a final referee stage that issues a formal decision. This final decision enforces contract-backed evidence and stage-specific artifacts to guide publication or revision planning.

Are there limitations to using a staged peer-review approach for research evaluation?▼

The staged peer-review approach requires fresh-context analysis at each stage and demands complete papers with supporting artifacts. It relies on preflight checks and phase artifacts to manage governance, meaning incomplete drafts lack sufficient evidence for evaluation.
