What problem does it solve?

It helps you identify whether your resume will pass ATS screening and how a recruiter is likely to react, so you can make targeted improvements before applying.

Core Features & Use Cases

ATS simulation + scoring: Matches your resume against the job posting and assigns an ATS score using company-type-aware hard/soft filters, with a clear PASS/REJECT outcome.
Recruiter-style screening: Performs a recruiter perspective review including 6-second scan signals, red-flag detection, and strengths/weaknesses evaluation after ATS passes.
Actionable rewrite guidance: Produces structured feedback with concrete improvements, including Before/After examples framed as Problem–Solution–Result.

Quick Start

Provide the file path to your resume (PDF, Markdown, or TXT) and paste the job posting (or a URL) so the skill can generate an ATS+recruiter review report with PASS/REJECT and specific fix suggestions.

FAQPage Schema

How do I check if my resume will pass ATS screening for a specific job posting?▼

ATS screening simulation evaluates your resume against a target job posting by matching keywords and applying hard or soft qualification filters to generate a PASS or REJECT score. The simulation requires your resume file and the job description text to produce a matching breakdown.

What does a recruiter screening simulation look for in a resume?▼

Recruiter screening simulation performs a 6-second scan signal check, red-flag detection, and strengths or weaknesses evaluation after the ATS pass. It assesses hiring readiness from a human reviewer perspective to identify issues that automated keyword matching might miss.

How do I get actionable resume improvement suggestions based on a job description?▼

Actionable resume improvement suggestions are generated as structured feedback with concrete Before and After examples framed as Problem, Solution, and Result. The rewrite guidance targets specific qualification gaps identified during the job description matching process.

Can I use a PDF resume file for ATS keyword matching and scoring?▼

PDF resume files are supported for ATS keyword matching and scoring, along with Markdown and TXT formats. The skill extracts resume contents via reading tools to parse experience and qualifications before evaluating them against the parsed job requirements.

Why does my resume get rejected by ATS even when I have the right qualifications?▼

ATS rejection often occurs when resume content lacks exact keyword matches from the job description or fails company-type-aware hard filters. The simulation identifies specific missing keywords and qualification gaps to explain why the automated screening issued a REJECT decision.

What is the best way to optimize my resume for both ATS and recruiter review?▼

Optimizing for both ATS and recruiter review requires addressing automated keyword matching scores and human scan signals simultaneously. The simulation provides a combined report with PASS or REJECT outcomes, red-flag detection, and structured Before and After rewrite examples.
