Explain that disciplinary standards are maintained within each perspective and that integration adds comprehensiveness rather than diluting rigor. Cite field experts in each area and articulate the explicit logic connecting the disciplines.

Avoid it when your research question is fully answerable within one discipline's theories and methods, or when you cannot access the literature and expertise needed to represent each field accurately. Forced integration without a clear synthesis argument weakens the work.
