What problem does it solve?

Transform geographic coordinates to Cartesian frames and generate fixed-frame matrices to drive 3D scene placement, enabling consistent positioning and orientation across MineMap scenes.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • High-frequency entrances: cartographicToCartesian3, cartographicToFixedFrame, and headingPitchRollToFixedFrame for common coordinate workflows.
  • Supports converting between cartographic and Cartesian spaces, local ENU frames, and attitude-aware fixed-frame matrices for primitives.
  • Use Case: derive a modelMatrix from geographic coordinates and attach it to a primitive to position it in the world.

Quick Start

Convert longitude, latitude, and height to a fixed-frame matrix and apply it to a primitive's modelMatrix.
