SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

This skill addresses the lack of objective, real-time data regarding a user's cognitive and emotional state, allowing the agent to provide context-aware support and interventions based on actual brain and body metrics.

Core Features & Use Cases

Real-time Biometric Monitoring: Tracks focus, relaxation, cognitive load, and drowsiness using BCI hardware.
Proactive Intervention: Suggests evidence-based protocols (e.g., breathing exercises, focus resets) when metrics indicate stress or fatigue.
Use Case: If you are struggling to concentrate during a deep work session, the agent detects high theta-beta ratios and suggests a 90-second neurofeedback anchor to help you regain your flow state.

Quick Start

Use the neuroskill bci status command to get a comprehensive snapshot of your current focus, relaxation, and cognitive load levels.

Frequently Asked Questions about neuroskill-bci

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I monitor real-time EEG and cognitive load metrics during deep work?▼

To monitor real-time EEG and cognitive load, you need a compatible BCI wearable connected to the local NeuroSkill desktop application. The skill integrates this biometric data to track focus, relaxation, and drowsiness for adaptive cognitive awareness.

What is neurofeedback-based proactive intervention for focus loss?▼

Neurofeedback-based proactive intervention uses real-time brain-computer interface data to detect high theta-beta ratios indicating focus loss. The agent then suggests evidence-based protocols like 90-second neurofeedback anchors to help you regain your flow state.

Do I need a specific BCI wearable to track biometric data for cognitive awareness?▼

Yes, you need a compatible BCI wearable and local NeuroSkill desktop application connectivity to track biometric data for cognitive awareness. The skill relies on EEG, PPG, and IMU metrics from the hardware to monitor cognitive and emotional states.

How do I check my current focus and relaxation levels using BCI data?▼

To check your current focus and relaxation levels using BCI data, use the neuroskill bci status command. This provides a comprehensive snapshot of your cognitive load, focus, and relaxation metrics based on real-time EEG and biometric inputs.

Can an AI agent adapt its responses based on my real-time EEG and PPG metrics?▼

Yes, an AI agent can adapt its responses based on real-time EEG and PPG metrics. The skill enables adaptive agent responses to your cognitive and emotional states, allowing it to suggest interventions like breathing exercises when stress or fatigue is detected.

What are the limitations of using BCI metrics for health and performance optimization?▼

Limitations of using BCI metrics for health optimization include the dependency on compatible BCI wearable hardware and continuous local desktop application connectivity. Without this specific environment setup, the skill cannot integrate the real-time EEG and IMU data required for adaptive responses.
