What problem does it solve?

Hermes integration with NeuroSkill enables real-time brain and biometrics data to inform interactions, tailoring answers and interventions to the user's cognitive state.

Core Features & Use Cases

Real-time metric ingestion from NeuroSkill (EEG/PPG/IMU) into Hermes responses.
Cognitively-aware guidance, intervention suggestions, and performance tracking over sessions.
Use case: a researcher or power-user wearing Muse devices can optimize task strategies based on focus and fatigue signals.

Quick Start

Connect Hermes to NeuroSkill and start streaming live brain and body metrics from the NeuroSkill desktop app.

Frequently Asked Questions about neuroskill-bci

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I stream real-time EEG and biometrics data for cognitive-state-aware responses?▼

To stream real-time EEG and biometrics data, connect through a local NeuroSkill server using its WebSocket/HTTP API. This ingests live brain and body metrics from Muse 2/S or OpenBCI hardware to generate cognitive-state-aware responses.

What hardware do I need to capture real-time brain and body metrics with NeuroSkill?▼

Capturing real-time brain and body metrics requires Muse 2/S or OpenBCI hardware. These devices stream EEG, PPG, and IMU data into the NeuroSkill desktop app, which then exposes the metrics via a local WebSocket/HTTP API.

Can I use biometrics data to tailor task interventions based on focus and fatigue signals?▼

Yes, you can tailor task interventions based on focus and fatigue signals. By ingesting real-time EEG and PPG metrics, the system analyzes cognitive states to provide intervention suggestions and performance tracking for researchers and power-users.

How does a brain-computer interface translate live biometric signals into intervention suggestions?▼

A brain-computer interface translates live biometric signals by reading real-time EEG, PPG, and IMU data from connected hardware. It analyzes these metrics to determine cognitive state and generates tailored guidance and intervention suggestions for the user.

What are the limitations of using real-time EEG data for neurofeedback and performance tracking?▼

Limitations of using real-time EEG data include dependency on a local NeuroSkill server and compatible Muse or OpenBCI hardware. Accurate neurofeedback and performance tracking require continuous device streaming and stable WebSocket/HTTP API connections.

Is neuroskill-bci compatible with other tools in the same data and analytics category?▼

neuroskill-bci ingests real-time biometrics specifically through the NeuroSkill desktop app and its WebSocket/HTTP API. It does not list external dependencies, so compatibility with other data and analytics tools depends on your local server configuration.
