What problem does it solve?

This Skill solves the problem of deciding whether a proposed variant promotion is safe by providing a cross-variant, field-level verdict rooted in deterministic cub-scout evidence.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Cross-variant safety verdict (variant A → variant B): Compares three-way outcomes, source-truth, and receipts from both variants to decide PASS/WATCH/ASK/BLOCK for promotion.
  • Binding-aware attribution (bindingSource diff): Uses per-field bindingSource graph shifts (connected mode) to detect whether the promotion changes what is ultimately sourced from upstream.
  • Chained receipts for auditability: Produces a promotion-target receipt that chains variant A evidence into variant B verification to establish an auditable gate input.

Quick Start

Ask Pilot to gate the promotion from variant A to variant B using cub-scout compare three-way, compare source-truth, bindingSource evidence, and chained receipt verification for a cross-variant safety verdict.
