SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes scripts (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

Polarization-check solves the problem of determining whether a trainee's recent training distribution adheres to the 80/20 polarized model by categorizing sessions into easy, moderate, and hard zones using HR proxies and activity data.

Core Features & Use Cases

Time-in-zone analysis: buckets the last 30 days of training into easy, moderate, and hard zones to reveal distribution.
Verdict & guidance: outputs a coaching verdict (POLARIZED, PYRAMIDAL, THRESHOLD-HEAVY, or UNDEFINED) with actionable suggestions.
Robust handling & memory: includes an auto-recovery flow for common errors and persists coaching observations to memory.

Quick Start

Run polarization-check to evaluate your last 30 days of training intensity distribution.

Frequently Asked Questions about polarization-check

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I check if my training follows the 80/20 polarized distribution model?▼

Polarized training distribution is assessed by bucketing your last 30 days of HR data into easy, moderate, and hard zones. The analysis outputs a structured JSON verdict indicating whether your intensity distribution is polarized, pyramidal, threshold-heavy, or undefined.

How do I calculate time in heart rate zones for polarized training?▼

Calculating time in HR zones for polarized training involves computing HR-based thresholds from your activity data. The skill buckets sessions into easy, moderate, and hard zones to reveal your training intensity distribution over a 30-day window.

Can I assess polarized training readiness for a group of athletes?▼

Yes, you can assess polarized training readiness for a group of athletes. The skill applies HR data analysis to individuals or groups to evaluate 80/20 distribution and guide coaching rebalancing decisions.

What happens if my HR data is missing when analyzing training distribution?▼

When HR data is missing during training distribution analysis, the skill handles the gap via a snapshot mechanism. This auto-recovery flow ensures the 80/20 polarization check still processes your available activity data.

What is the difference between polarized, pyramidal, and threshold-heavy training?▼

The difference between polarized, pyramidal, and threshold-heavy training lies in the time spent in easy, moderate, and hard zones. The skill outputs a structured verdict based on your HR data distribution to identify which model your training follows.
