What problem does it solve?

This Skill helps you decide how to rebalance a crypto portfolio by comparing your current allocations to target weights, measuring allocation drift, and recommending the trades needed to restore balance.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Portfolio assessment: Collects holdings, values, weights, total portfolio value, performance since last rebalance, and flags concentration risk (e.g., any single asset over 30%).
  • Target allocation design: Supports conservative, balanced, or aggressive target weight templates and applies constraints like keeping individual alts from exceeding 10% and counting DeFi positions toward underlying allocations.
  • Drift analysis and rebalancing triggers: Computes drift per asset and recommends calendar-, threshold-, or hybrid rebalancing while avoiding daily churn that increases costs and taxes.
  • Trade planning with cost and tax awareness: Determines buy/sell direction and dollar amounts, prioritizes largest drifts, skips trades under a minimum size threshold, and considers tax lots plus tax-loss harvesting and gas optimization.

Quick Start

Use portfolio-rebalancing to calculate drift from your chosen target weights and produce an ordered list of trades with estimated costs and a next review date for the provided holdings.
