SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve? Manually finding, vetting, and documenting outbound sales prospects is slow and error-prone. This Skill automates the full Apollo prospecting pipeline — from ICP-based search through enrichment and web research — and records everything in your Obsidian vault. ## Core Features & Use Cases - Apollo Search & Deduplication: Searches Apollo for ICP-matching companies (DTC e-commerce or B2C SaaS) using technology stack and persona filters, then removes companies already tracked in your pipeline. - Credit-Controlled Enrichment: Enriches approved companies and contacts via Apollo APIs, with explicit user approval required before spending enrichment credits. - Parallel Web Research: Launches background research agents to find pain signals, outreach triggers, and personalized opener drafts for each contact. - Vault Documentation: Writes company files, Pipeline Tracker rows, and Batch Log entries into the Obsidian vault with tiered prioritization. - Use Case: Say "find 10 more DTC companies" and the Skill searches Apollo, deduplicates against your vault, enriches the shortlist, researches each contact, and delivers a prioritized prospect list with outreach angles. ## Quick Start Ask the assistant to run a prospecting run, for example: "Find 10 new DTC e-commerce prospects and add them to my pipeline."

FAQPage Schema
How do I find and enrich sales prospects with Apollo?

Run a prospecting request such as "find 10 DTC companies." The Skill searches Apollo with ICP filters, deduplicates against your vault, presents a shortlist for approval, then enriches approved companies and contacts using Apollo credits.

How does Apollo prospecting deduplicate against existing leads?

Search results are compared against existing company files in the vault's Companies folder and Pipeline Tracker rows by company name and domain. Already-tracked companies are removed and the counts are reported before enrichment.

Does Apollo search return contact emails directly?

No. The apollo_mixed_people_api_search tool does not return emails. You must run apollo_people_match enrichment for each contact, which costs one credit per contact, to obtain verified email addresses.

How many Apollo credits does a prospecting batch use?

Company enrichment costs 1 credit each and contact enrichment costs 1 credit each. A typical batch of 10 companies plus 14 contacts consumes about 24 credits; searches themselves are free.

Can I target a specific vertical like DTC or B2C SaaS?

Yes. The Skill applies distinct filter presets: DTC e-commerce targets Shopify and Klaviyo stacks, while B2C SaaS targets Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Heap stacks and excludes Shopify users. You can also override revenue range, titles, and geography.

Why does the Skill ask for approval before enriching companies?

Apollo enrichment consumes paid credits, so the Skill always presents the deduplicated shortlist first and waits for your confirmation. This prevents wasting credits on companies that do not fit your ICP.
