SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

The Strategist helps teams evaluate migration options, compare trade-offs, and prepare formal migration artifacts to guide human decision-making.

Core Features & Use Cases

Evaluates multiple migration strategies with explicit trade-offs.
Produces migration_strategy.md, risk_register.md, and cutover_plan.md from a brief and constraints.
Guides decision-makers with risk and cutover planning for complex migrations.

Quick Start

Provide the migration brief and constraints to the Strategist to generate recommended plans.

Frequently Asked Questions about reversa-strategist

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I create a migration strategy with explicit trade-offs?▼

To create a migration strategy with explicit trade-offs, you provide a migration brief and appetite constraints to generate a structured migration_strategy.md document. This artifact explicitly compares paradigm decisions to guide human decision-making.

What is a cutover plan and when do I need one for a migration?▼

A cutover plan dictates the exact steps for transitioning from an old system to a new one during a migration. You need one when executing complex system migrations to guide decision-makers through the transition and mitigate operational risks.

How do I generate a risk register for a system migration?▼

You generate a risk register by providing migration constraints and a brief to evaluate potential migration options. This produces a risk_register.md artifact that documents evaluated risks for decision support during complex paradigm decisions.

Can I evaluate migration options if I only have a brief and appetite constraints?▼

Yes, you can evaluate migration options using only a brief and appetite constraints. The Strategist takes these inputs to compare trade-offs and produce recommended plans, outputting formal artifacts like cutover_plan.md for decision support.

What is the best way to document trade-offs for a paradigm migration?▼

The best way to document trade-offs for a paradigm migration is to generate structured strategy documents. By evaluating options against appetite constraints, you produce explicit trade-off comparisons in a migration_strategy.md file for human decision-making.
