SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

It turns messy, overlapping manuscript feedback into a structured revision plan that routes each issue to the right specialized writing components, then ensures the final manuscript is coherent across sections.

Core Features & Use Cases

Feedback parsing & mapping: Breaks reviewer/editor/self-assessment comments into discrete actionable items and assigns each item to the appropriate manuscript section.
Section routing & dispatch: Directs each mapped item to the best matching skill workflow (e.g., intro/conclusion coherence, theory/literature turn fixes, methods revisions, case justification).
Coherence verification & accountability: Runs integration checks for promise–delivery alignment, terminology consistency, and citation alignment, and produces an audit-ready revision summary.

Quick Start

Use the revision-coordinator skill when you have a draft manuscript plus reviewer comments and want a revision plan that addresses every feedback item without creating internal inconsistencies.

FAQPage Schema

How do I structure messy reviewer feedback into a coherent manuscript revision plan?▼

Manuscript revision routing works by parsing reviewer comments into discrete actionable items, mapping each to the appropriate section, and dispatching them to specialized workflows for structured revision.

How do I ensure cross-section coherence when revising an academic paper?▼

Coherence checking verifies promise-delivery alignment, terminology consistency, and citation callbacks across all revised sections, ensuring manuscript updates do not create internal inconsistencies during peer review revisions.

Can I use this revision routing workflow for economics and social-science papers?▼

Yes, the revision coordinator applies specifically to economics and social-science manuscripts, routing feedback across introduction, theory, literature, methods, case justification, findings, discussion, and conclusion sections.

What is the best way to track progress when addressing multiple reviewer comments?▼

Deterministic progress tracking monitors each parsed feedback item through its assigned section workflow, producing an audit-ready revision summary that verifies every reviewer requirement is addressed.

How do I map editor feedback to specific manuscript sections for revision?▼

Feedback parsing breaks editor and reviewer comments into individual items, then maps each item to the relevant manuscript section before routing it to the matching specialized revision workflow.

What happens if revising one section based on reviewer comments creates inconsistencies elsewhere?▼

The revision coordinator runs final verification checks for cross-section coherence, detecting terminology conflicts and broken callbacks after updates, then generates a revision summary highlighting any remaining integration issues.
