System Documentation
What problem does it solve?
The Self-Improving Supply Chain (SISC) skill captures and organizes learnings from operations to drive continuous improvement, reducing stockouts, delays, and misalignments by logging forecast errors, supplier risks, logistics delays, inventory mismatches, quality deviations, and demand-signal shifts.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Automated logging of supply chain disruptions and improvement opportunities to standardized Markdown files.
- Categorization of learnings (forecast_error, supplier_risk, logistics_delay, inventory_mismatch, quality_deviation, demand_signal_shift) with area tags for procurement, inventory, logistics, manufacturing, quality, demand_planning, and warehousing.
- Promotion workflows to convert broadly applicable learnings into actionable policies, scorecards, playbooks, models, or new skills.
- Reference-friendly structure for later extraction into reusable skills or templates.
Quick Start
Create the required learning directories and files to begin capturing insights. For example, run: mkdir -p .learnings and ensure initial templates exist, then log your first entry using the prescribed formats.
