SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Enrich sidecar manifests by automatically inferring and proposing cross-asset requires edges, reducing manual dependency mapping.

Core Features & Use Cases

Enrich manifest graphs with LLM-assisted cross-asset references.
Generate a draft requires-graph on a topic-branch for review and merge.
Applicable to Skaile sidecars with multiple assets and complex manifests.

Quick Start

Provide a sidecar slug to analyze and run the deps analyzer to generate a proposed requires graph.

FAQPage Schema

How do I build a cross-asset dependency graph for a sidecar manifest?▼

To build a cross-asset dependency graph, this analyzer evaluates sidecar assets and proposes requires edges using LLM assistance. It outputs a reviewable JSON array of edges with from, to, and justification fields.

What is LLM-assisted dependency mapping for sidecar manifests?▼

LLM-assisted dependency mapping is the process of automatically inferring cross-asset references to enrich manifest graphs. It reduces manual dependency mapping by proposing edges with justifications for review.

Does the dependency analyzer enforce existing version constraints and requires edges?▼

Yes, the dependency analyzer enforces existing requires edges and version constraints when generating proposals. This ensures newly inferred cross-asset dependencies do not violate established manifest rules.

Can I generate a draft requires graph on a topic branch for review?▼

Yes, you can generate a draft requires graph on a topic branch for review and merge. This workflow allows teams to safely evaluate LLM-proposed cross-asset dependencies before integrating them into the main manifest.

What do I need to provide to analyze sidecar dependencies?▼

You need to provide a sidecar slug to analyze dependencies. The target sidecar must have manifests and existing publisher mappings to successfully generate proposed cross-asset requires edges.
