What problem does it solve?
Classify IT spend line items into TBM Taxonomy v5.0.1 cost pools and cost sub-pools to enable auditable, transparent cost modeling across IT spend.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Reads GL extracts, spend files, budgets, and COA mappings and maps each item to TBM cost pools and sub-pools (Staffing, Outside Services, Cloud Services, Hardware, Software & SaaS, Data Center Facilities, Telecom, Misc Costs, Cross Charges).
- Applies Bundled Contract Registry guidance to split multi-component contracts and assigns appropriate CapEx/OpEx designations, with confidence levels and review notes.
- Produces output artifacts suitable for governance reviews: Pool-level Summary, Sub-Pool Detail, Detailed Line-Item Mapping, and a Review Items log.
Quick Start
Provide a GL extract (CSV) and run the mapper to generate pool/sub-pool classifications with confidence levels and a review-items log.
