SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve? Most people cannot accurately describe who they actually are — they rehearse flattering labels, sanitize their motives, and build careers or products on strategies that fight their own nature. This Skill runs a structured self-discovery interrogation that produces an honest, evidence-based map of your personality to inform career, startup, and strategy decisions. ## Core Features & Use Cases - Guided self-discovery interview: Uses proven prompts (even-as-a-kid, lost-in-the-work, pit-of-my-stomach dread) plus anti-questions to surface what drives you and what drains you, one prompt at a time. - Evidence-based recording: Presses every self-flattering label for concrete episodes and records each characteristic in WHO-ME.md as a non-judgmental fact with the contexts where it helps and where it hurts. - Outside-in homework: Assigns three questions (perfect scenario, personal hell, invisible strengths) to 2-5 people who know you, then mines their answers for strengths you cannot see yourself. - Use Case: A founder wondering why they keep burning out runs the interview, discovers they are excellent at work that wrecks them while the energizing work is a footnote, and gets a synthesized 'shape' reading to anchor their next strategic choice. ## Quick Start Ask the assistant to run the asb-who-me self-discovery interview to figure out what work actually fits you.

FAQPage Schema
How do I figure out what work actually fits my personality?

Run a structured self-discovery interview that mines what drives you, what drains you, and what others see in you. This Skill uses evocative prompts and anti-questions, presses every answer for concrete episodes, and records findings in a WHO-ME.md file with strength and hindrance contexts.

How to identify my strengths I cannot see myself?

Strengths that come naturally are invisible to you, so the Skill assigns three outside-in questions as homework to 2-5 people who know you well: your perfect scenario, your personal hell, and your invisible strengths. Their answers are mined and recorded as your attributed edge.

Can this skill assess my company's or product's strengths?

No. The Skill explicitly refuses to inventory a company's or product's strengths — that is a separate observation and classification exercise. It maps the individual person only, and distilling the decisive one or two traits belongs to the follow-up voters step.

What happens if I cannot give concrete examples for a trait I claim?

A claimed trait with no concrete episode behind it after honest digging is not recorded. Labels without evidence, virtues, and resume lines are refused; only facts backed by dated, specific episodes enter the WHO-ME.md file.

When should I not use a self-discovery interview?

Do not use it as therapy or to diagnose why you are the way you are — the Skill maps who you are so you can choose fitting contexts, and refers genuine distress to a therapist or doctor. It also does not write marketing copy, bios, or LinkedIn content from the results.
